On September 1, 2007 the new J.O.L. guidelines came into effect.   A J.O.L. License applies to only those between the ages of 16 - 18 years old.  These new restrictions/penalties were designed to combat the escalating number of serious and fatal accidents.  A complete and printable list of the updated regulations can be obtained on the registry's website.
