_{The Town of Boxford as adopted a bylaw that requires Solicitors of any kind to register with the police department.  It should be noted that you will not be allowed to solicit in town if you are not properly registered.  The Chief of Police (or his designee) will examine each application within 24 hours.  At the Chief's discretion an application will be approved or denied.  All applications will need to be filled out in full for each person that wishes to solicit.  It should be noted that a valid Government I.D. is required when an approved form is to be picked up.}
